Powerball has surged past the half-a-billion-dollar mark in just a few months, from its jackpot reset in April when it was $20 million. And we have another rollover, so the next grand prize for this lottery game is now knocking on the door of the Top 10 Powerball jackpots of all time (see below).

Powerball numbers for Monday, July 3: 15, 26, 31, 38, 61 and the Powerball was 3. Power Play was 3x. No one matched any of the big prizes for Monday. The jackpot for the Wednesday, July 5 Powerball drawing has now rocketed to $546 million with a $282 million cash option.

How long has Powerball rolled over?

This Powerball jackpot has rolled over since April 22. Before that, one ticket purchased in Ohio matched the six numbers to win the Wednesday, April 19, lottery jackpot of $252.6 million, with a cash option of $134.6million. The prize was claimed by the Crazy Luck Trust with John Krajewski as trustee. It was Ohio's fifth-largest jackpot prize, news reports show, and the ticket was purchased at GetGo Cafe and Market in Macedonia, Ohio.

While $252.6 million is a lot of money, the grand prize did not make the Top 10 lottery jackpots for Powerball or Mega Millions (see below).
