Louise Schuler at 76 former music director DEERIELD Louise (George) Schuler 76 of 18 Brae Burn Road South Deerfield a re tired director of the former Am herst Summer Music Center died Wednesday in the ranklin Reha bilitation Center Greenfield She directed the center with her husband for four years at the Uni versity of Massachusetts before moving it to Sebago Maine She retired in 1976 Born in Utica NY she was edu cated in the Springfield schools She moved to South Deerfield in 1961 She was graduated from Sacred Heart High School and attended the University of Georgia in Ath ens She was a member of St Church and a volunteer in the former arren Guild She belonged to the Amherst College and Deerfield Academy faculty clubs She leaves her husband Dr Clement Schuler two brothers Raymond George of Montague and Albert George of Sturbridge a sis ter Alma George of Springfield several nieces and nephews The funeral will be Saturday morning in the church with burial in the spring at ederal Street Brookings Ele mentary School She retired from the Washington Street School in 1969 She was also a tour director for the Genovese World Travel Agency in Springfield Born in Amherst she was gra duated from Amherst High School in 1928 and later from North Adams Teachers College She re ceived her degree in 1956 from Springfield College She was a member of irst Bap tist Church in Amherst and a past matron of the Order of the East ern Star Charles Dunklee II manager for utility church lay reader HAMPDEN Charles Dunklee II 56 of 94 North Road died Thursday in Baystate Medical Center Springfield He was the community relations manager for Northeast Utilities in Wethersfield Conn He also was the manager of the Chambers of Commerce in Ben nington Vt Brattleboro Vt and Lawrence Born in Rutland Vt he lived for many years in Hampden He was graduated from Bryant College in Rhode Island He was a lay reader vestryman and communicant at St She was also instrumental in starting the Amherst Golf Club at
