About the walk in service
The walk-in service is led by clinical practitioners for patients (registered and unregistered). Our practitioners will be able to assess, diagnose and treat a number of minor illnesses and manage wounds via this service.
Treatment
Patients are advised to arrive approximately one hour before closing time.
When you arrive at the walk-in centre you will be booked in by one of our reception coordinators who will ask you some details about yourself and the reason for visit.
You will then wait for the initial assessment known as triage which is usually within 15 minutes after being booked in. Triage is to ensure we are the most appropriate healthcare service for you.
A clinical practitioner will either redirect you to the most appropriate healthcare provider or you will wait for a further consultation.
Please note, there are no x-ray facilities on this site.
