Future plans!

We held U2 rock services that day, the first one in the morning in the St. Jan de Doper church Noord-Scharwoude and the second in the afternoon, in the Zilverstraat church in Franeker. The visitors, band and reverend  were very enthusiastic about this cooperation, and U2NL and Rev. de Boer have decided to continue this cooperation. The first part of this is a single which will be named “40 / CoeXisT”. The single will be downloadable from the net. Reverend and Band will record the single at the 6^th of October in Cologne.

The single will be an extended version of U2’s song 40, to which the reverend will add  a part of his sermon. That part handles about the relation between Christians, Jews and Muslims, the multicultural society, extremists and peace. “How long, to sing this song?”

We’ll do 4 versions of the song, a long uncut Dutch version, and three radio versions, in Dutch, German and English. A big part of the sales will be donated to Bono’s One project.

The cooperation will be named: U2NL feat. Rev. Jan Andries de Boer.
