About U2NL

“In the eighties and nineties U2 became one of the most important rock bands ever. With more than 30 hits in the Netherlands, of which more than 20 reached the top ten, U2 guaranties music and show of the highest class.”

U2NL is founded in 2003 and grown to be the Dutch most successful tribute band of the moment. They pay tribute to their Irish heroes in an most impressive way. The list of countries U2NL has visited with their rock show is impressive and still growing. In 2006 the band is invited by the FIFA to play a show prior to the quarter final of the World Championship Football in Cologne. Short after that, the band receive an invitation of the Austrian government to play a show in the well-established “Kunsthaus Nexus”. Gigs in Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Germany and off course The Netherlands follow. The international festivals U2NL visits are getting bigger and time after time they give the audience what it came for: The ultimate U2 experience.

U2NL distinguish themselves on many fronts and like to think big, created their own path. A path that all ready reached many highlights. Rarely a tribute band can make such an impression in the international scene and get invited to this many countries. A new highlight follows in July 2007, when the band plays as Headliner on the very big “Rock Off” festival in Finland. The invitation from the G8 summit organization in Rostock underlines the level the band is operating on.

In January 2007 the band live out a long cherished wish: they created a theater production about U2 and the band's history. The premiere was a big hit. With an sold out venue, followed by praisefull comments U2NL showed the crowed what they can produce. U2NL brings an energetic live show, plays the biggest U2 hits and brings the audience the ultimate U2 experience.
